I'm blind...almost.

I think I'll take a picture of my eye patches (when I get the other one next week.  I had my right eye surgery this morning, and I have to type this with my nose about 3 inches from the monitor.  Pretty funny. I have to relax today, go for post-op with the doc tomorrow morning, then back to school on Thursday.  I'm  trying to figure out how I'll see (to drive, teach, walk down the hall without bumping into the students, etc.) since it was my close vision eye they fixed first.  I can't really put my glasses on over a good eye..oh well, I'll figure it out.  It does crimp my style since it's also hard to shop when I can't see what I'm buying.  OK, don't laugh, I will survive.  I'll let you know how everything went, when I get my second surgery next week.  I can wear real sunglasses, now, whoopee!
