Bill and I thought we would spend a couple of days in Las Vegas, so we could be there to pick up Mariah and Jeremy, (flying back from Disney World in Orlando) on Friday night. It started out pretty well, and we were able to check out some of our favorite shopping and eating places. Bill didn't feel great, and in fact, was diagnosed with a mild case of bronchitis prior to us leaving St. George. The doc put him on a three day Z-pack of antibiotics, so we were hoping he would feel good during our 3 days. I could tell he wasn't doing great, but he was a trouper, and we shopped around. We were able to figure out where to catch a few of the games, and when it came time for the BYU/Woford game, we went back to our hotel to see it in peace and quiet. The first day went well, BYU won, and we went to bed.
It was quite windy the second (Thursday) day, and the air in Vegas was nasty. I think a combination of the dust and pollen in the air, and the cigarette and cigar smoke, hastened my condition. I haven't had bronchitis in years, but boy did I get it on the third day. I felt crappy, and by the time we picked up Mariah and Jeremy, my body was shot.
The doctor on Saturday said it was bronchitis (viral or bacterial, not sure), so we spent Saturday feeling like a couple of sickies. It's Sunday, and Bill's the only one attending Church. I feel so weird, like I haven't been in ages (last week, actually). I just don't want to give whatever I have to those college students. I hope all will be well by Tuesday, even though there are a couple of students whom I wouldn't mind so much if they got sick, I hope I'm over it by then.
So much for spring break in Vegas.
Oh yeah, one big party. That's me and Bill!
